Offline programming tool path issues

I recently picked up the offline intercon programming tool and key fob. The issues I have run into is the toolpath in the graphing screen. If transfered to the lathe it works fine and graphs fine but on the offline graphing the toolpath makes some unnecessary cuts. I was hoping someone could point me to the right setting to get it to work. I have tried copying the report from the lathe but it is a previous version and doesn't seem to fix the issue. Files attached Thanks in advance!

Did you configure the offline version like your lathe?

Also copy your tool and offset library (cnct.ttl) and your part setups (cnct.wcs).

I copied over both, toolpath is unchanged.

The fish hooks (as I call them on the ID) is usually caused by cutter comp look ahead. Check to see what parameter 99 is set at on the offline and the control. In Intercon F9 set up you can see what it cutter comp look ahead is set to ( same as parameter 99) by scrolling clear down to the bottom. Nose radius and cutter comp together can cause this also with not enough travel between moves.

They were set at the same setting but i was able to get the fishhooks to go away by removing the nose radius in tool offsets. That seems to work for now as i will be posting on the machine anyways! Thanks!

If you don't want cutter comp, than deselect it in intercon instead of setting nose radius to 0...
