Centroid Community CNC Support Forum

Hello to all my question is. Is there anybody in this forum that has retrofitted a mazak QT8. Things are going very well. I’m working on the turret at this time. Anybody out there know anything about the turret. I did change all the proximity sensors to NPN. I set up some relays to run the index motor. The strange thing that happens is when you power the index motor it will run one way and then when you hit the power again it will run the opposite way what is causing that. There is also some type of break that I believe was hooked up to the index motor. I did upload a photo of the break. ( Is there any old Mazak Techs Out There ???? )
