How Can I get my x to move 25mm instead of 50mm? I enter in 50mm and it goes 50mm not 25mm.

One way would be to halve your mm/rev setting in motor setup.

How would you do that?

In the wizard where you entered the axis mm per rev, you would change that to a value of half of what is currently entered.

I think you mean to say "double the mm/rev", so that the control outputs half as much motor rotation for the same requested mm distance.

BTW, for those with controls set up in ye old English imperial units, the setting is motor revs/inch, and you would cut the value in half to get half as much travel.

what you describe could be wrong steps per rev or wrong turns per inch, before you go changing anything you need to figure out which one is set wrong. as advised previously, post more info about your machine and we can tell you what is wrong.

Okay I got my setup running again and I need to fix my x movement issue. As stated before When I ask for 50mm it should go 25mm and it is not.

Your turns ratio for X is incorrect. You have 5mm/rev and it should be 2.5mm/rev
