Huan Yang spindle set-up

I found the wiring diagram and I think I’m good with that because I had it working on the bench just fine.
But now that I moved it over to the machine, I somehow messed something up and cannot figure out what.
I thought I had set the wizard up from one of Marty’s videos but if I did, I don’t know which one and cannot find it now.
Are there documents for the settings used in cnc12 and/or the parameters in the VFD?
I’d like very much if someone could link to them.
Thanks.

Well, I finally had time to get back to this and searched the forum and found this link.
https://centroidcncforum.com/viewtopic. ... vfd+set+up
I made the changes that were recommended here and my spindle began to spin up until it was destroyed.
The level of frustration involved after spending all the time and money I have cannot be expressed.
I moved from Mach4 to gain functionalities and felt confident after reviewing this forum that the answers were here AND help if I need it.
Am I the only one who cannot get the help I need without buying live support hours?
I guess I'll go buy a replacement now...

Gary pointed you to a website that sells your brand VFD and they do publish basic settings for their VFD's. It's up to you to verify the correct model number and settings on the VFD for your specific spindle. VFD's are programmed differently for different spindles. Voltage, amps, Hz etc.
Centroid does not publish VFD parameter settings for any VFD as they dont sell them. There are basic/generic wiring diagrams for wiring up a VFD to the Acorn but that's it. The wizard settings are different for different VFD/Spindle combos so again Centroid couldn't possible publish settings for every VFD.
Did you burn up the VFD or the Spindle? You said you had it "working on the bench" so something changed in the parameters when you moved it to Acorn for control. Some VFD's can be tricky with parameters and you can easily get lost if you are not careful. I'd suggest a factory reset of the VFD parameters and start over with programming.
For the record you didn't publish any model numbers or links to the manual for your VFD or spindle I'm not sure how anyone here could have helped you.
When you get the new spindle and/or VFD share with us manuals and model numbers and I'd be glad to help you set it up properly. Please dont blame this forum or Centroid for something it had nothing to do with. Share with us more info and we'll help. You never asked any more questions after Gary's post so we assumed you were good.
