Now that I am almost done with my Mill conversion and getting to know the centroid acorn a little better I am thinking ahead to converting my CNC Router to Acorn. This got me thinking about having two Wireless MPG's in the same room. I could not find anything in the manual about setting up an address or something that would distinguish these from each other.

Is it possible to have two Wireless MPG's attached to different machines in the same room?

I have read about people having two MPG equipped machines in the same shop. It should not be a problem. In this day and age the MPG's should set themselves up.

I have three Acorn powered machines in the same area of my shop. They are have the wireless MPG. Works great. No issues.

No problem to have multiple WMPGs.

Did you have to do anything to pair them or do they come uniquely paired?

I believe the way it work is the antenna/receiver and MPG are a pair from Centroid. I didn’t do anything. Worked out of the box.

Jep, they are delivered ready paired, only plug and play

Setup is very easy. All you have to do is plug the usb receiver into your computer. Then turn on the MPG in the acorn wizard and you are ready to go.
