I have different 3D probes in use and want to share my experience with them.

China V5 probe
TopCom probe with Zeiss Tip (original is only a piercing ball with >0,015 out of round)
VersBy wireless Probe
Centroid KP3 (in my case with Alpha wireless module)

China is the cheapest, working ok. Only radial adjustment, needs often readjust of run-out.
TopCom, only angular adjustment for run-out, needs often readjust of run-out.
VersBy easy to configure NPN/PNP NO/NC, only angular adjustment for run-out in less than 0,05mm range, stem ist 6,01 mm (dowel pin, fits not in Weldon holder) useless for me. Wireless range > 10m in house ok
Centrod KP3 wireless, both radial and angular adjustment, perfect. Stays in center under 0,001mm deviation forever, perfect. Wireless range > 10m in house ok, no change from use with cable in speed and precision.

So for me KP3 rulez, regardless if wired or wireless, it is the only one I can trust to give me a perfect position any time without fine tuning with dial indicator .

I have the KP3 and love it but how do you make it wireless?

That was an experimental wireless adapter from Centroid.

After 1 1/2 years now, the KP3 with my selfmade brass SK30 holder is still under 0.002mm runout.

Perfect reliable tool :)
