my apologies if this is a stupid question . I have 3 centroid(sem) servos as pictured . stripped from a machine for a project . I may just sell them now if there is a market but. as the motor says 260v and there are 3 phases . im in the uk so can I run this as a spindle using a 240v single to 3 phase 220v inverter . or have I completely lost the plot . cheers any advice appreciated

Those are permanent magnet servo motors; not induction motors.

Most inverters are only designed to run induction motors. Some higher-end ones can now run PM (permanent magnet) motors, but setup is not trivial.

Those motors are probably more valuable as servos.
