Is there an update for the OFFLINE Intercon in the pipeline ?

Love to see it FULLSCREEN as it has no VCP
Love to see all the new goodies from CNC12 v4.99, like COLOR PICKER and improvements

Received the dongle today and its version 4.20 :(

I had the v4.22 installed

But what I meant is an update to version v4.99

What I really, really wanted to see in the offline version is a simulation of the work you made in intercon.
It would be nice to see it simulating so I can see if I don't wreck my lathe or workpiece.

Offline versions have the same F8-Graph while inside Intercon that the connected versions do. They also retain the F8-Graph at the main menu level.

Just like in the connected versions, the feedrate override controls the graph re-draw speed.

Let me explain a little better (I hope).

what I really really want to see in the offline intercon is
when you press cycle start, then you see the arrow moving and making the piece
asking to change the tool en press cycle start again

I want to see what it does so I can change/improve my workplan
like it has fake motors attached. (Thats what I tought was the dongle for, a fake acorn board)
Now when I press F8 I see the piece and a whole bunch of lines, nothing moving.
And I'm thinking, what does it do there, is that normal, looks like it goes thru the workpiece
Should it crash ???

With the offline demo software, you can turn the feedrate override down with Ctrl-Minus, so that the F8/Graph screen draws slower.

You can also go to the F4/Run screen; turn ON runtime graphics (RTG) with the F10 key; then return to the main screen and press Alt-S to simulate the job running. The runtime graphics will show the cutter movement at actual cutting speed. The width of the trail in runtime graphics is set by the tool's diameter offset value, from your Offset Library screen.

You might also want to look at some of the available g-code simulators. You can use these to view the Intercon generated g-code file, or any g-code file created by other CAM software.

https://camotics.org/ is a free open-source simulator that might be what you are looking for. There are other free ones and other paid ones available.

CAMotics Limitations: No Lathe simulation.
But I will do my research and I allready have Ecam, thank you for the idea

Running to my laptop and test this out.
Thank you for this guide

Yelleke,
Hello.
just a couple of things we have on the cnc software to do list for 2023

1.) CNC12 emulator
2.) NC solid model back plot
3.) New versions of Mill, Router, Lathe Intercon
4.) CNC12 Set Screen builder
