Hey Guys,

I have an old Renishaw Mp1s with a MI5 control box. I'm not very familiar with probes and how they work, so i was thinking if you guys can give me a hand. Attached is the data sheet for the control box. I have the GPIO4D and the MPU11 with CNC11. Can this probe work with my setup?

That should work fine as a Tool touch off probe. Use the NO SSR output and wire it into an either an input on the GPIO4d (slower) or between the mechanical probe input and "return" on the mpu11 probe header.

You will need to purchase the ATM software option or write your own macros.
