I have a new Acorn board and its been working fine with C86ACCP board and ClearPath SDSKs with just default configs.
I started to rewire my system according to this schematic S15072.r4.pdf https://www.centroidcnc.com/dealersuppo ... 072.r4.pdf and all the CNC12 configs required found on the upper left of the document.
On the upper left connector on the Acorn board H4 - it designates a +24VDC input. Supplying 24V to it causes a spark and shutsdown the board. The board will also not power up if you supply a 24vdc to it initially. I did this initially and powered it down pretty fast when I noticed that it was the only change that I made. The board seems to still work but I don't know how much damage a few seconds of short circuits caused.

If H4 pin 1 pulls a spark, you most likely have H1 pin 1 grounded. Possibly "E-STOP SIGNAL" wire is shifted over 1 position and the switch is closed.
