I need suggestions on wiring a Renishaw MP11 probe on a conversion of a Bridgeport V2XT / DX32 NC system to a Centroid Allin1DC system.
Here is the photos / info I have.
There is a 1K ohm resistor between the wires in the Bridgeport schematic shown as White (170) Brown wire (40) but the actual wire color is wire 170 yellow and wire 40 orange at the connector.
Does the Allin1DC probe connector supply a voltage and how can I wire this for probe detect. I haven't found info for the Allin1DC and Renishaw MP11. As you can see in the Renishaw manual it SSR can only support 50ma.
I have researched all I can and haven't found how to do this.

ALLIN1DC probe inputs are pulled up to 12V. Pull them down to activate. The input current draw is 9-15mA when pulled down.
The ALLIN1DC Probe Cable drawing is attached. It includes a chart that lists the signals. 12V is available from that connector to power your probe.

I have the probe partially working but it touches off 4-5 times and errors out. Error 915 unable to find surface. The inputs 770 and 771 work correctly I think, I set the probe to be normally closed first then normally open. I used the Centroid dp4 probe guide to configure the suggested parameters. I set the Renishaw probe as a DSP type probe because it has a SSR in it which may be incorrect. The probe manual says 15-30 VDC so I did not use the 12VDC available at the Allin1DC but the system 24VDC. The negatives of both DC power supplies are tied together.
Use input 769 for mechanical probe. The DSP input is a proprietary thing for some Centroid probes.
Input 771 probe detect should be pulled low when the probe is connected. It looks like your probe pulls up. Did you sort that out?
The probe should be set for normally open if you have the option to configure the output. That will match Centroid's probes used on servo systems. It is the most tested configuration, therefore least likely to have any issues.

Ah, Ok I will switch it to the mechanical input and wire it for normally open. I thought I had the detect sorted out, I just cant seem to get how it should be wired with the Renishaw MP11 to probe detect. There is a picture in the first post of the mill probe connector with wire numbers and the pictures above if would be so kind to give me a shove in the right direction how to connect it to the Allin1DC.
Thanks for your help.

Honestly, I don't understand what "REMOTE SOCKET (Park Position)" is. I would probably wire detect to a ground in the connector at the MP11 end of the cable. This would not be the best since it would only be a cable detect. There may be a better way, but I don't see it right now.

Thanks again, I know its confusing to me. I'll follow your previous info and mess with the detect.

Is there a way to connect a 3 wire hall effect / magnet to a Allin1dc spindle encoder input just to display RPM in CNC 12.

Is there a way to set the Probe PLC to work with a normally closed probe. Most probes are NC. Thanks
