I have my retrofit moved from the bench (coffee table) to the shop and have the axies? axeses? both up and running. Actually ran the "pawn" program cutting air and it seems to be really close in dimensions, I can tune that in no problem.
Problem is I cannot get the home function to work.
I have normally closed switches on X and Z wired in series with one end going to common block in my enclosure and the other going to input 1. "alt I" shows them as green on input I and change to red if I make either switch. both setup to make when axis moves to within about an inch of maximum in + direction
I have tried setting input 1 "first Axis home limit ok" and
input 2 "Second Axis home limit OK" and then machine automatic home ____no luck
Then Jog home_______________no luck
Then I tried input 1 HomeAll
input 2 LimitAll Automatic no go Jog no go
With the above setups I could not even move either axis manually
Now I just removed all the inputs and could then move both axis so I loaded Pawn and it ran with everything moving in the correct direction.
Can someone walk me thru the wizard?
Thanks
Bill

You are very close to having this correct!
It looks like you are describing a setup with just one input needed and it needs to be set to "Home all" and then set input 2 as unused
Two switches in series only needs one input to home both axes if the one input is set correctly.

Use ONLY HomeALL on input 1
Why are you using input 2?
Make sure you have the checked HOME TO SWITCHES in Homing and Travel Wizard page and be sure to setup the soft limits
