Hi there all. Am finalizing my pM25mv cnc conversion using the acorn board. My last step is to get spindle speed control. I am taking the analog out from the board to a kb 240dsi board to reduce the voltage. The wiring diagram from Francos is clear, but the part i am struggling with is the coupling of the wires from the kb board to the machine input. The kb board has 2 wires and the input on the machine controller has three wires (black, red and yellow). When i attach the kb board to the black and red wire i get the motor to turn but the chuck wont turn. So i am trying to figure out how to get the wiring done between the kb board and the machine control panel. Im sorry if this has been asked, and would then just like guidance as to where to find the info.

What exactly do you mean when you say you can get the motor to turn, but the chuck won't turn. Isn't the motor connected to the chuck?

It appears that there must be a switch that allows the motor to turn but not the chuck. When i put the original 3 wires back from the potentiometer I get both the motor and the chuck to turn. I know this sounds really weird and i dont understand this at all as it doenst make sense to me either.
