Many users have had trouble using the DMM DYN4 to Acorn supplied cable to connect to the Acorn HEADER.
DO NOT USE THIS CABLE IN THIS MANNER
The currenly only supported method to wire a DYN4 to Acorn is per the current schematic which is attached.

WE understand there is a schematic #S14989.DWG titled ACORN-rev4_DMM_DYN4_with_DMM_INTERFACE_CABLE.pdf which is being removed from the Acorn Schematic Set. DO NOT CONNECT the cable as shipped by DMM to Acorn in this manner.

I have reached out to my contact at DMM several times and have not heard back. I'm hopeful we can collectively update the way the drive interfaces with Acorn. For now, only the attached schematic is supported.

They took the resistor out but still show connecting to the headers instead of the DB25

Test both ways, check machine for accuracy. Post you results.

On my setup I tried DMMS wiring diagram connecting to the screw terminals. I still had lack of accuracy. I moved the step and direction to the acorn db25 connector and everything was on point. This has been a VERY FRUSTRATING build with DMM servos...

It's not the servos necessarily, rather it's their cable they supplied. With that dropping resistor.

Yes I understand about the resistors and cables. Just in general though this have definitely not been a plug and play setup. I think alot of my issues have been because the large size of my machine is right on the edge of their servos operating limitations.

I purchased my DMM hardware in Dec 2018 along with the CA-CUACRN-M4-1 cable. DMM provided this detail on the cable (also see attached file):

Brown 22 = 5V (achieved w/ 24V & resistor)
Green 23 = ST1
Blue 10 = DIR
Orange 18 = ALM
Black 5 = COM
Red 16 = 24V
Yellow 15 = ENA

According to the schematic you posted above, the DB pins match, but the step, direction and enable do not. For example, are we certain that Green 23 should be DR1 instead of ST1? Is it possible there is a error on their drawing? see attached.

I am unsure what you are referring to.
I just pulled the DYN4 DB25 pinout and the Acorn S14969.DWG match up with each other if you are NOT using the DYN4 provided cable. (You connectorize your own DB25)

There have been issues with DMM Provided DYN4-Acorn cable users report. Since DMM STEP and DIR pins are 5VDC logic, users are saying they modify the DMM cable by removing the resistor and use the DB25. Waiting for a sketch from someone to show how they are wiring it. SLODAT led that effort.
Search for him as the author maybe you'll find it.

Right now, Centroid Schematic works, but as mentioned DOES NOT use the DMM supplied cable.

(Note, you will want to incorporate the ZRI output in your lathe but you best contact DMM and see if your drives have the modification to directly drive Acorn's input. They will need the info off the side of the drive. Lately they don't respond to me anymore. Other users having good luck)

The schematic you posted is a little off, the "wires" for -Pul, -Dir, -Ena don't line up with the terminal markers on the board, they are off about one whole terminal width. I didn't even notice it until I was trying to figure out what wdannhardt was talking about since I've looked at the one for the DMM cables and the general connections schematic so many times I think I could draw them both by memory.

No updates, DMM will not give me the courtesty of returning my phone calls or emails. Despite others saying they have been in contact.
