We are still actively testing the software. Centroid is discussing a public beta release in the near future, so that those of you interested can help flesh out anything missed....

I think a public beta is a good idea. It gets more people testing it and finding bugs that an otherwise small beta test group may not find and accomplishes this is a shorter time frame. I'm patiently waiting for this release also, this will finally put the finishing touches on this great hardware/software package.

Public beta is a good idea for those users who like tinkering and helping, understand the software may need polishing, willing to try and replicate steps, take video clips, pictures, document what they did to create the issue. Sometimes more often than not, its the tester that misunderstands a feature and its really not a problem (that's me!) but in the course of testing, we can suggest what might make the software better or information to the user so its more understandable to the user.

It takes TIME too! Not really for someone making money with their machine or expecting perfection, or people short on patience.

Keith asked if thouse of you are seriously interested, PM him. But it is work....load it test it as you would use it....report back.
