Will Acorn run AH-Ha drivers

Hi I have a Bridgeport series 1 cnc mill it had an ah-ha system fitted still on original motors , can I hook Acorn up to the ah-ha drivers or do I need new drivers and motors ??

Do they take step / direction? If not, no. If they are Analog (-10v to +10v) then you need to look at Oak / AllinOne boards. Acorn cannot drive them (no pun intended).

Yes, they take step and direction input. Its a matter of sorting out which terminals....

Is there any new information available or updates since this thread was originally posted? I'm interested in details of how this could be done.

I have a Bridgeport BOSS with original steppers and an AH-HA retrofit from around year 2000. I would like to upgrade it to Centroid / Acorn. I would prefer to use the AH-HA drivers as shown in the photo, with the existing steppers. Everything works fine. I would just like modern conveniences like importing CAD files, CAM programming & contemporary HMI. Can't wait to toss my 3.5 floppies and DOS cheat sheet.
