Home All Wiring Question

I have had great success with my Acorn for over 2 years on my converted 626 with no big problems but I am trying to combine my 3 axis homes into Homeall to get a couple of inputs for cycle start and end.
I have a plastic box to accept the 3 home inputs and then one lead out to input 1 I am using 4 way Speakon connectors to match the drives and the rest of the system these have been wired both individually to the output and linked across the 3 inputs then to the output either way when only one input is
plugged into the box the switch is seen as normal but as soon I plug in another the state doesn't change on the input screen when tripped manually or the machine homed.
Obviously I am missing something fundemental but unless I can work out whatever I am getting wrong I will have to fall back to single inputs.
I don't understand how with the wiring tried two ways? is there some other setting I am missing.
Regards Bob.

Bob...
Post some pics or specs on the switches. Without that switch info we are just guessing

Bob,

as Gary said with the information given we can just guess. Looking at your report file, HomeAll is configured as Normally Closed (NC) that means you have to wire all three home switches in series. When one of them opens it will open the closed circuit and indicate to CNC12 that a switch has tripped.

Now you say that you connected them individually with connectors to a plastic box so my guess is that when you not connect all 3 home switches to that box at the same time, your circuit is not closed (unless you are using the last connector) and CNC12 thinks the home switch is tripped.

If this is not the issue, please post the specs of your switches as Gary said and also a wiring diagram how you wired the connectors in the plastic box.
