all in one dc does not pass bench test <resolved>

Post by warnerr »

just powered up allinonedc I received a couple weeks ago using supplied power supply for bench test per manual. +12V analog led and -12v are off. A check with voltmeter on power supply shows proper +12V and -12V output. No other accessories have been connected yet. Blinking '4.' displaying correctly. I don't believe this passes bench test. Please advise. warnerr@recabaren.com

Warner, please post pictures of your benchtest setup.
All in One DC are tested at the factory before shipping.

Need to "see" what you are working with.

I assume your power supply came prewired with the logic power cable and you have not disconnected or reconnected anything on the power supply?

Thanks for the pictures.
Please make sure you use a 3 wire with ground power cable.
Check the +12v(yellow) and -12v(blue) using the black wire (common) as reference at the logic connector that plugs into All in One DC.

If you find you read somewhere very near to +12vdc and -12vdc respectively, give Centroid support a call first thing on Monday morning. Be sure to have the unlock sheet in front of you and be in front of your AIO DC benchtest setup.

ok- will do. volts are good on power supply. only ‘fault’ i have is for quick bench test using lampcord- that will not be used in real setup!
