I am using a Kress 1050 spindle which has no sensors but simply a manual on/off and speed regulator.
So from the CNC12 software, I only need to switch the machine on and off via one of the Acorn outputs and a relay.
I know how to configure the output signals to one of the output pins and in fact I already connected output pin 7 and output pin 8 to two relays (for spindle and vacuum) but I still have the following questions:
1. which of the outputs is linked to the on/off buttons of the user interface (lower part of spindle control section) ?
2. which of the user interface buttons (within spindle control section) can be used for the vacuum ? can I use the Aux buttons. DO tehy also have their own output signal ?
Thanks
Uwe

Uwe...
For the most part you will need to use one of the dry contact relays to close contacts for most spindles. That relay should be set in the wizard as "SpinFwd", then you can use the spindle manual on off buttons on the VCP.
For testing purposes, configure the output for your vacuum as "Flood", then you can use the flood aux buttons to control it
