I am trying to get cnc12 spindle control to my go704 with a 1100 watt BLDC spindle motor and am confused on wiring it up . I have watched the videos explaining using the KB controller and isolation board and to be honest I'm lost . The controller I'm using now has a provisions for external control so my question is do I still need the KB controller as Marty had said always use the isolation board to protect the acorn but will I need the controller also I have attached the schematic of the current board any help would be much appreciated Thanks Jeff

I think you can just use the analog input on that... It should take the Acorn's 0-10 volt output to control the spindle speed.
Marty had a video somewhere but I can't seem to find it. I did however find this one:

I agree, that it "should" take 0-10vdc analog input. I would test with a 1.5vdc or 9vdc battery and see if it spins up the motor first.
I'm a little concerned about signal isolation...maybe ok?

The spindle speed would be controlled with the 0-10 volt dc what im struggling with is the Forward /Reverse signal and start /stop being high and low pulse ? Thanks Guys

You weren't clear on your original post.
I would use jumpers to the appropriate input on the drive from the refence signal and test before connection g to Acorn. And when you do, make sure you use a relay board on Acorn outputs. Do not connect directly to Acorn outputs.

That makes sense I will try this weekend as I have the expansion relay board from centroid Thanks for your time Guys
