Wireless MPG now shipping with a improved long range style USB antenna.
old antenna is good for incredible range of 60-80 feet, new antenna is good for even better 60-100 feet.

Wow! I haven’t taken mine out of the box and it’s out dated already. Unreal.

Not sure there is a need. Perhaps it was just a manufacturer design change. The previous version had great reception in my opinion.

I've really never heard of any complaints with the original design

Why the change if there was no problems with the old model?

Having bought numerous imported products in both large an small quantities this change is more the norm than the exception. The mfgr does a run of 1k, 10k, 100k or 1M pieces. When they are ready to mfgr a new batch, they resource the components. Sometimes they are the same, sometimes not. Sometimes better, sometimes not. I am sure that once received by Centroid, they were fully tested. I am sure I will be happy with both my "old style" and a new one when/if I order another. I surely am not going to spend any time contemplating anything regarding this change.

I have the "old" style and it works great.

I'm glad to hear nobody is having any problems with old MPG. The concern was the new model says it's 'More Stable'.
