Started making some Fusion 360 CAM programs for my Acorn controlled mill.
I used the Fusion library post processor for "Centroid". Getting lots of errors and invalid codes ....
is there a specific post processor for Fusion 360 that outputs Acorn compatible code?

Re: Fusion 360 Post Processor for Acorn?
I ran into some problems (tool library issues) but, otherwise, the Centroid post works for me.

Do you have any examples of the errors you’re getting? Maybe someone will be able to help more if they know. Oh, there is a menu/page somewhere in Fusion (I think when you go to post, it’s a window on the right side that you can scroll through...sorry, not home so can’t look at my PC) that has some selections you might want to review.

Thanks. I just very carefully did the post processing, selecting the Centroid configuration and all is good. Human error likely....

Re: Fusion 360 Post Processor for Acorn?
The mill post works for me with no errors. However, I have not had the same result with any of the three available Lathe versions. The best one still has to have some slight mods.Started making some Fusion 360 CAM programs for my Acorn controlled mill.

Re: Fusion 360 Post Processor for Acorn?
I have modified posts for Fusion. While not completely straight forward, It is not too difficult.
User "Franco" has a Youtube video relating to a few tweaks he made to a post. I have modified a post to work with 4th axis positioning, as well as 5th axis positioning.

Re: Fusion 360 Post Processor for Acorn?
Thanks Sportbikeryder and Dave_C
I tried a little harder and go the Centroid post process to work. Built a 1400 block program that ran for 60+ mins (me being very cautious on speeds). Not a single error! I am good to go.
