Keling KL-5056D to Acorn

Hi Everyone,
I am new here. Setting up the Acorn for my lathe. I did not see a schematic on the Centroid web site that looks like my current setup. Presently, my G0602 is wired up with KL-5056 drivers and C7 breakout boards, which the Acorn replaces. Two 5v power supplies are connected to the two C7 BOBs for the 2 axis. Removing the C7s I can see where the 5v wire would go on the KL-5056D but I don't know where to run the ground coming the 5v power supply. On the other end of the KL-5056D is where the 48v power and steppers are connected, and there is a ground terminal there. Can the ground lead be from the 5v power supply be terminated there too, should it be grounded somewhere on the Acorn? Schematic attached. Thanks for any help.

Try the Leadshine schematic and select it in the CNC12 wizard

Thanks Marty. Just the nudge that I needed. Got the motors moving.

Marty, I have used the Leadshine schematic to wire my Acorn to the 5056 driver. I am using the 24vdc that came with the Acorn. I am also using the 36vdc & 5vdc power supplies that with my Nema 24 steppers from Automation Technologies. i am only using one stepper at this time. I am running into several problems.
1. When Acorn is powered up all lights are giving green , heartbeat from Acorn is good. When I go into CNC12, it is indicating the e-stop has been detected, but when I click on the e-stop, there is no response. It does not even reflect that it was clicked on.
2. After several minutes, the stepper motor I have hooked up gets very hot. I am not sure what is going on.
3. I cannot get any movement out of the motor.
Any suggestions. I am quite sure that my wiring is correct as I was very careful to follow the schematic.

Post screen shots of your wizard pages as well as the diagnostic screen. Also a shot of the main CNC12 screen
Post a report as well.
The diagnostic screen is your friend for checking inputs.
Remember, we need lots of info. We can't "see" waht you see.

Marty,
I went to my workbench this morning and fired up the Wizard. Here is what I was greeted with:
I shut down the wizard and started CNC12
Following instructions, I exited and powered down the Acorn, waited a few seconds and fired it up again. Once I got the heartbeat I started CNC12 again:
At this point, I powered down my PC, then Acorn.
I restarted Acorn, after heartbeat I restarted the PC. I then started the Wizard: Here are the screen shots:
All other sections are in default condition.
I then started CNC12:
Again, there is no response when clicking on E-Stop.
Any comments, suggestions, corrections will be greatly appreciated. I have been programming these things since the mid-eighties but never got into the electronics of them.
Thanks in advance

Did you put the required jumper from +24vdc onto the +24vdc terminal on the input block?

Go into diagnostic screen. Take a wire and jump from a common terminal to input 8 and see if the input led turns on and off.
Please take a picture of your Acorn and post here
