Is there a way to continuous turn the rotary axis on a mill in the cnc 11 software? switch on and switch off later in program? I may be asking for too much.

The best way would be to use a 3phase motor and VFD, or a servo and a drive configured for continuous rotation.

the controller is on a atrump e216 4 axis mill. so rewire the rotary table independent and turn on and off as needed is the only option? was hoping to do it in the software but its not written that way.

Can you post a couple pics or give more information? There are some really good folks here, you just need to get them enough info to answer the question

What is it that you are actually trying to achieve? Most NC operations "want" to finish before moving on to the next step.

There may be ways to keep the rotary at least mostly active by calling subroutines again and again throughout the program.

I have it set up now. I don't need to keep it continues turn. all I need now is a working 4 axis mill post for fusion 360.
