I have questions about OAK.

Hi, Scott.

If OAK does NOT have step and direction, why does the flying-lead cable have Step-and-direction control signal wires?

Does the SureServo2 cable and parameters use analog control or Step-and-Direction?

Which controller DOES support Step-and-Direction?

How do I restore the OAK’s Parameters to as-shipped? I had started to change things before you advised me and I didn’t keep careful records.

Oak does not output step and direction. It outputs quadrature ("AB phase pulse 4x" in SureServo2 manual terminology.)

SureServo2 uses position mode with quadrature waveform from Oak.

ACORN or AcornSix output step and direction.

Oak does not save any parameters. A fresh CNC software install will restore all defaults.
