(scales rs-422 0.005 (not yet attached to the router))
Any step by step guide to ad scales on the acornSix using the onboard db-9 inputs ?
(X)
Have read out on the pid.
(x) when ad 1 and Y at scales, noting moves anymore. (also homing not working)
(nothing touched on par: 300-315 / p423=1)
Would be already nice to have a read out on the dro.
Thx

waiting for the fancy 5.4 version
But you are using that expansion board & servo's, need a poor man's guide

No expansion board on the lathe, but the setup is the same, only more inputs on the board.

Setup is the same regardless of whether or not you have the expansion board. The only difference is the encoder port numbers. The onboard encoder ports are numbered 1-3 while the ENCEXP12 provides 16-21.

fresh v5.3 basic install.
same as in previous version: got the scale reading in the dro, but can't move anything (no jog/home/mdi) hence it say it has disable the scale at start up.
things changed: #308: 7 > 1 (warning 2x1)
#332/335 > 255 (have reading from scale > can cancel the error code ???)
set tab scale x to 1 & Y 200counts 1 1 (idem wizard)
if i disable the scale in the scale tab > can move/home.
scales rs-422 0.005 same pin-out as the aikron > rewired to acorn pin-out.
