So we are having a customer who has been using the MPG(wmpg-6) for the past few months and now all of the sudden he is getting a transmit signal and battery status, but there are no XYZ Letters or numbers at all on the screen. He has put in a fresh set of Duracell alkaline batteries and still no letters are shown. We had him try pulling out the dongle and replacing it and still nothing. The wizard is set up correctly. We also tried a different usb port. Still nothing. Anybody have any thoughts? This is being controlled by an Acorn Board.

Does it begin working if you:
1) Exit CNC12 (F10/ShutDown -> F9/Exit)
2) Turn the WMPG off and back on, using its silver power button
3) Re-launch CNC12
On a cold start, does it work reliably if you keep the WMPG turned off while you turn on computer and Acorn power; then power on the WMPG after the Windows desktop appears, but before CNC12 starts?
Just curious, because that was the behavior I was seeing on one recent system (Hickory, CNC12 Mill v5.30).

Since this was setup and working previously it seems unlikely it's a configuration or PC issue.
It's entirely possible the antenna went bad, either in the WMPG itself or the receiver that's plugged into the PC.
We have replacement receivers available as part # 15357 for $40.
With instructions on how to re-pair them here under the documentation tab:
https://shopcentroidcnc.com/shop/wirele ... l-pendant/
The other option would be to replace the WMPG all together, which is available at the above link.

Just an update, the customer purchase complete new MPG (overnighted) and they are getting the same issue. All the new components were installed. They are going uninstall the USB drive again with the new pendant and see if it corrects the problem. The mpg is configured correctly in the wizard and they have tried various ports none of which are via a usb hub. Still same problem as viewed in previous post. Is it advisable to run the tuner again? Router Pro is still installed

The blank screen is if I plug out the reciever and plug in while CNC12 is running.
I suppose the PC will have an USB Problem.
Try another PC to make sure.

I agree with Uwe, it could be a good test to try using it with another PC or even just installing a fresh version of CNC12 and trying it with that, to be sure none of the files responsible for using the WMPG have gone bad one way or another.
PC Tuner and CNC12 downloads available here:
https://www.centroidcnc.com/centroid_di ... loads.html
1. Make a backup of the current cncm directory, if applicable.
2. Run PC Tuner.
3. Install fresh CNC12 v5.30.
4. Run CNC12, installing the license and setting up the WMPG with the wizard.
5. Restart CNC12 and see if the WMPG will connect.
