I am using a CNC12 OAK controller. I found a USB memory stick or dongle labeled: "Centroid Intercon" and "CNC12 V4.20+" What is it?

Hello Glenn,

I moved this post to the Oak forum since you have an Oak. We answered you by email, but I'm echoing the explanation given here for other forum users.

Your control order included Offline Intercon for Mill/Lathe, that little USB dongle you found is the Hardware Unlock for full offline functionality. You can move that dongle between computers and use the full version of Offline Intercon on whichever computer has the dongle connected at the time. You can install Offline Intercon from our Software Downloads page, the download is titled: "Offline Mill and Lathe Intercon: Interactive Conversational programming software for use on a Windows 10/11 PC (not the CNC controller PC)".
