Hello
we just finished a acorn installaation on a lathe which we are using a usb bob as well on this set up.
there is a strange thing going on that 8 out of 10 you go to switch on the machine you will get this fault (9115 usb input setup fault) and all of the machine wont work and no matter if you try to reset the fault.
than sometimes you will switch on the machine and you do not get this fault and the machine will work as it should
has anyone ever encountered anything like this???
thanks
jason

Hello Jason,
Could you please post a fresh report from this machine? See this thread on how to do that:

Hello Jason and welcome to the forums.
Please post some pictures of how you have the USB-BOB mounted/connected to the PC.

Your BOB is set to COM3
pls check in the device manager if this Com Port is active
The USB BOB must be connected to a USB plug on the PC, no hub
Length of the USB Cable must be under 5m
P496 = 3.00000 - Centroid USB Operator Panel Interface Board 1 Port Number Note: To determine the correct COM port number, open the Windows Device Manager and observe the COM port being used by unplugging the device and observing it disappear from the list.

I checked USB on the devise manager and all good there you can see it being active when you remove the USB from the PC.
I also checked p496 and it says 3.0000.
Is there any other way to get support apart from this forum as we need to resolve this ASAP
TIA
Jason

Hi
Anyone from centroid can locate this issue pls???
It is being very frustrating not to be able to make the machine work cause of this fault.
On my side I changed position of PC,separated any wiring that can cause EMI,changed USB cable, but still no luck.
Thanks
Jason
