ESTOP PIN 8 DOES NOT WORK

Post by KarloTerrazas »

Hello

Im looking for support. Im just wirng my first accorn controller. So far all drivers and motors are working.. but when I try to test the ESTOP circuit the problem that I have is that I cannot realase the system from the Estop status...

Im going to the Wizard and change the input 8 to Normally closed as described in the manual (before was NO, so the controller worked as spected without any estop push red button)... after change the input 8 to NC and wiring the estop button, then i save and restart the system... but i will never get out of the estop state, no matther what I do... I have troubleshot the NC stop contact, checked continuity, i have even wired directly the PIN 8 to COM with same results, Then even changed the logic for Estop to PIN7 and wired to COM, and same result...

Anyone has an idea about what is happening?

Im using ACCORN12 mill free v5.30

Please provide a report from CNC12.

Do you have 24vdc applied to either of the H1 or H4 header 24IN terminal?

Is the LED beside the Input8 connection point changing from green/red when you cycle the e-stop button? Is so your wiring and buttons are working, if not you've got a wiring issue somewhere.

Did you overide Input 8 in the I/O monitor? It should have no lines above the indicator.

Cheers,

Tom
Confidence is the feeling you have before you fully understand the situation.
I have CDO. It's like OCD, but the letters are where they should be.
