all in 1 dc full power no motion

Post by 1936hotrod »

So i got the new all the allin1dc hooked up to my mill thought i was good but when i try to move the table the servo motor ramps up on the load bar and doesnt move then creates the full power no motion error. Ive got 74.5 volts going from the capacitor to the plc .my servo motor says 140 volts 6.8 which was the same capactor and motors that was working before i put a new plc in. the fuses show same 74.5 volts for each but the outputs for the servo motors have 20 volts on 2 motors and 35 volts on the other going to the servos. i dont know why the voltage drop but i think that's to low but don't know. Ive looked at some troubleshooting articles but im not sure on this voltage situation if that's the problem or should check something else. i need some suggestions im to old for this lol

Do you have normally-closed limit switches wired to INP1 through INP6?

If not, do you have the limit switch defeaters turned on (down towards the board)?

On the Alt-i diagnostic display, INP1 - INP6 should be green, and should NOT be inverted or forced (no overscore, no underscore).

If all of the limit inputs are open (red), then the drive will be unable to move any motor in either direction.

I did switch the micro switches off for the limit switches and the diag screen shows them green. I did switch one to red and it did show a trip error so I switched it back. Thanks for the reply
