Allin1 dc door open parameter

Post by 1936hotrod »

Doing a benchtest on my allin1 dc mill and I can’t finish the test because a line comes up that the door needs shut first. I have no door switch and need to disable it. Having no luck with changing parameter 85 to a negative number don’t do anything. I’m officially stumpt. Any help will be appreciated

Try using the Diag screen (Alt I) and force it closed. You may have to move the cursors around to find the one labeled something like "Door Closed" CNTL ALT I will invert it

Setting Parameter 85 = 0 will usually disable any door interlock logic, but that does depend on what PLC program you are using.

If you were to post a Report, then someone could look at your PLC program and find out what its door switch requirements are.

Finding the correct door open on the Diag screen did the trick I had it off and thinking that would shut it off, but you actually had to turn it on. Thanks for the help I was about to go into depression mode lol.

There should be a word of caution about "forcing" things in the DIAG screen. Just when everything is about to really run, you should make sure that all the items get put back to default.

The button pusher 9-)
