Canned cycles

Post by clw1973 »

Try to use frame cycle inside circle to not return to .100
Above part after cycle. Example would be insert frame after frame with .010 increase on Id till it gets to finished size. But after every cycle it comes up to .100 above part then goes back down to cutting depth. I want it to stay down until it’s finished the part to size. Kinda like adaptive clearing

It sounds like what you really want is a Circular Pocket cycle.

I don't think there is any way to prevent the Frame (or Pocket) cycles from returning Z to the designated clearance height when the cycle is complete.

If the Circular Pocket cycle does not do what you want, then you will probably need to write your program in G code.
