Allin1DC spindle brake and aux3

Post by Gherrmann1995 »

Hello,

I can't get either the spindle brake time delay or AUX 3 button to actuate the spindle brake on my YCM40. The brake does actuate properly when the spindle is turned on and off minus there being no delay.

I have tried changing the PLC to add a time delay, changing parameter 700, and I have tried downloading CNC12 5.30 with no luck.

I've attached the SpinBrake PLC files I have tried and a final report.

Any help would be much appreciated.

Your "-2" program looks like it is headed in the right direction.

Maybe a delay of 300ms is just too short to notice? What happens if you install your "-2" program, and set P700 = 3000?

I agree, the logic of "Centroid_ALLIN1DC_Mill_SpinBrake-r5-2.src" looks pretty good to me.
~1/3 of a second can be pretty hard to notice, I'd be curious to know if changing P700 to a higher value is noticeable.
