PLCXEP1616

I recently bought a PLCEXP1616 from centroid. In the product description it shows the pcb with LED's for showing the states of all inputs and outputs. On the board I received there is none of these LED's. Is this a new design? Why? The LED's are very useful for diagnostics. I'm a little disappointed, I really feel that they are necessary and at that price point should be included. My question is, is there any way I can get one with LED's or is this just the way they are now?

What is the circuit board revision date on the board you received?

v2.ob3. Thats the Paper tag on the board, as in pic. Thanks for the fast response

See the white silkscreening at the end of the board. Your board is rev 180904.
You could contact Centroid and tell them you want a rev 221109 board, as pictured on their sales page.

We can offer a discount of $100 off the original purchase or we can issue an RMA to send the current board back and have it exchanged. The board is functionally the same aside from the LEDs.

we still had some old stock on the shelf, sorry about that. will get you fixed up.
note: We are selling the non LED version for $100 less to move the remaining ones out the door.

Thank you, I am quite satisfied with the exchange solution, one hundred dollars off is nice but to me having the LED’s is worth the extra cost. The board is in the mail.
