hi do i need to do something special to turn on tool diameter? boring some holes there were off a hair tried to adjust tool diameter and redo them but this doesnt work. i ended up having to change tool size in fusion 360 and repost to do this. how i can i do this within acorn cnc?
would think that if fusion says tool is .2 for example and acorn defualt is 0 that adding acorn -.1 for example would make the tool .1 when running program but not sure.

When you create the tool path in Fusion 360, make sure you are setting the option “In Control” and not “In Computer”, otherwise the created G-Code does not use tool diameter offset commands and will not use the diameter offsets set in the CNC12 tool offset library,

ah ok ty, ill try that, going this route do i have to set all the tool diameters in acorn before hand or can i just set the offset if it needs to be adjusted.

ok was looking at the setting and says if set to wear it will use fusion sizes but still inputs g41/42 so i can adjust the tool ware, dont remember seeing a setting for that in acorn but havnt looked specifically, sounds like this is what i was after if it uses tool diameter, use fusion sizes but let me fine tune in acorn.
