Schematic for KP3 and TT4 on Oak/AllIn1DC?
Is there a schematic for a KP-3 probe and TT-4 toolsetter on Oak/AllIn1DC?
Cheers,
Tom

I have CDO. It's like OCD, but the letters are where they should be.

I took a look in our schematic database and did not find any on hand.
Are you planning to have the TT-4 always connected?

Re: Schematic for KP3 and TT4 on Oak/AllIn1DC?
On my older machines with DP4 and TT1 I've shared the probe tripped signal with a simple splitter cable with two AMP bulkhead connectors. I leave the TT1 connected since it doesn't have a connected signal. Obviously I can't share the tripped signal with the TT4 but I'd like to be able to leave that always connected as well on the newer machines.
Cheers,
Tom

Assuming that both your KP3 and your TT4 have the "flipper" circuit in the plug -- so their trip signals behave as normally-open -- then I don't see why you cannot wire them in parallel to the PROBE header, as before.
Did you encounter a problem doing that? What were the symptoms?

Re: Schematic for KP3 and TT4 on Oak/AllIn1DC?
Marc, the LED did not light on the TT4, and when attempting to set a tool height, I received a message along the lines of the tool touch off wasn't configured. Sorry, I've slept since then and don't remember the exact message and I won't be back to the machine until Monday.
Cheers,

Re: Schematic for KP3 and TT4 on Oak/AllIn1DC?
The flipper circuit is what got me. I ran the detect and trip signals to my piggybacked connector like I did for my DP4 and TT1. I conveniently ignored the fact that the newer KP3 and TT4 use active cables for the trip inversion and therefore need +V (pin 2) connected as well. Working now.
Cheers,
Tom

i asked Chuck to make public the KP-3 to Oak and Allin1DC schematics (overlooked) and will post here when they are live.
