New Build, Acra Mill with Allin1DC, Videos and Photos <upgraded to DC servos>

This project has been on hold for 4 years. I'm fnally getting close to making chips! Everything is ready to go, but since the Centroid system was purchased 4 years ago, I'm updating Windows and CNC12 before firing up the mill. Note that the green Z axis mounting plate adapter is temporary. I think it's strong enough to mill the adapter out of aluminum. That will be my first project.

I'm currently getting a "MPU not responding " after updating Windows 10 to 11. I'm not sure what to look for.

Probably Windows Defender Firewall. You need to create an exception to allow cncm.exe to communicate through the firewall.

I went through the all the tests that I could find.

1. Disabled all firewalls.
2. Added exception
3. Checked IP address.
4. Ping test failed
5. Limit LED'S #7 blinking green other 6 are solid green. Correct? Note the limit switches are all disconnected. They're in the mail.
6. The cat 5 connection is green
7. I got an error after the windows 11 update. "Could not load Iqvw64e.sys driver. I disabled that driver. Good? Or bad?

Screen shots attached.

Apparently, the network adapter on the NUC PC is not working properly. Therefore, nothing about the Allin1DC is relevant.

It is possible that the non-function of the NUC network adapter is related to the driver that Windows would/could not load.

Until you get to a point where the "ping 10.168.41.1" command gets successful replies, there is not going to be any communication with the Allin1DC.

What does the Windows Device Manager have to say about the ethernet adapter?

Can you find an updated driver for it?

CNC12 is now connected and running after a long call with Lukas at Centroid. I mentioned that I had connected the ethernet cable to the USB dongle (next to my thumb in the picture) coming out of the NUC computer. Lukas mentioned that I should have connected directly to the NUC. A few minutes later it's up and running.

Moving forward again!

Happy to help, and glad we figured this out!
I look forward to seeing how the rest of your build goes.

I finally got my limit switches installed and tested. The next step was to check the encoder direction by rotating the motor counter clockwise to make sure the number goes up. My Y axis number goes down. How do I fix that? The encoder rev count will not take a negative number and the motor reverse does not correct the issue.

It appears the incoder was wired correctly. This was a prewired and tested box so it should be. See pictures.

The easiest solution is to swap the A and B phases at the DE9 encoder plug.

I swapped both the A's and B's and it's still backwards.
