Changing motherboards

Greetings All,
I have a client with an M400, #10960 (originally #6962 with a replacement console) running CNC10, Version 2.70. I don't remember which motherboard is currently installed. Hopefully, one of the Centroid techs can provide that information. The past few days he has reported intermittent problems with an error of "413 CPU Failure #01". It appears to be heat related. I don't think it is the CPU10 card, as that was replaced this past September. I suspect that the current hard drive (Probably CF) is IDE. Again, this should be able to be verified by Centroid personnel. I have replacement motherboards from Gigabyte, GA-H81M-HD3. They have only a SATA connection. My question is this: If the current hard drive is IDE, will I still be able to use a disk image from the CF to a new SATA drive, or will I need to create a new hard drive. I spent last night in the emergency room with an allergic reaction, so it will probably be a day or two before I am in front of the machine. Thanks to everyone in advance.
Best Regards,
Jeffrey
