Fanuc Red Cap A06B-0117-B855

Post by jcsb »

I already own a allinonedc and acorn control machines and I'm starting a new project. The subject titled Fanuc is what I'm wanting to use. I looked in the Centroid Fanuc retrofit manual but I don't see this specific one mentioned. Since it is smaller than the more traditional red caps I wanted to see if there is a way to use these (I have several). I have attached a picture of the one of the ones I have. Any help would be greatly appreciated. I'm considering using the Oak controller.

I am sorry to say that these motors are too small for our AC/DC drive to run.

Just out of curiosity, what kind of machine is this?

That's a bummer. I was interested in installing them on a small precision lathe I'm designing. Originally installed on a robotic arm.
