Can I use the following solid-state relay ( https://www.amazon.com/SSR-25DA-3-32VDC ... r=1-8&th=1 ) (Solid State Relay SSR-25DA with Heat Sink DC to AC Input 3-32VDC To Output 24-480VAC 25A Single Phase Plastic Cover) to turn my router on and off by wiring it into one of the outputs?

If not, what should I use? Thanks

Assuming your router is under 480 volts and 25 amps or less, and is single phase, then yes

Gary,
1.) Thank you
2.) Is there a schematic available showing this?
3.) Is the DC input from the +/-5 analog output or from one off the relay board?

by turn your router on and off, what do you mean ? turn the spindle on and off or the entire machine?

if single phase ac router motor, then the schematic would look like what you see on page 20 of the ether1616 manual.

just swap out the contactor for the solid state relay

I have a bosch router, so I mean, turn the entire machine on and off via the acorn board.

Will this wiring diagram work?

No. There is no power provided to the DC side of the SSR

You don't need a snubber with a solid state relay as it does not have an inductive component to the load on the Acorn. However, if you were using a regular coil relay, you have the snubber in the wrong place. It goes across the coil of the relay, not the contact side.

Gary, where would that power come from? What comes from the expansion board?
