I was wondering if anyone has seen this AutoZero Touch Plate from Sienci Labs.
Looks like a really nice setup, and shouldn't take much work to make it compatible with Centroid. I was thinking about getting one of these. The price seems quite reasonable. What do you guys think?

Other than my resistance to using conductive Z setters, that one should work, and there may be some features in an upcoming version that will make it easy to setup.

I'm with Gary, there's no way I'm driving my $90 carbide tipped V bit into a solid metal surface......at any feed rate.
But if you are brave enough, this should work for you.

I would recommend the
AvidCNC Touch Plate which has a spring loaded touch plate. This plate is fully supported in
CHIPS.

Thank you for the information. I was wondering what the new features are that may be coming that would help with this before I try to code something.
I also found this useful link from them that has resources where they have made this work with other CNC software.
