I want to apologize in advance for this stupid question, but I just downloaded and installed this Rev9 BETA software. I see the "expires after X amount of days". Does that mean the software is unusable after X amount of days or will it still be usable? I'm finally getting my electronics all setup and wired up so I'm just trying to get started with a stable version of CNC12 before having to update or roll back to another version.

The beta program will cease to function when it expires. The reasoning is that by the expiration date, there will either be a newer beta, or the release version will be available.

we should have a v5.2 release candidate very soon, tomorrow most likely.

Thanks Nigel, it’ll be here tonight about midnight and I’m as prepared as I can be. We are well above any predicted storm surge, our house is close to 33 feet above sea level but we are in flood zone E here on the far northeast side of Clearwater. They’ve evacuated zones A, B and C expecting up to 12 feet of storm surge. This will flood even 2 story homes. Fingers crossed it’ll come on shore south of us as predicted right now. The north and west sides are much better in a hurricane. If that even makes sense.

Jason, please stay safe as it’ll be slightly worse for you. We’re expecting around 100 mph winds here in northern Pinellas County but you could see higher of course. Good luck down there if you haven’t evacuated.

I’m just enjoying electricity and internet while I still have it. I guess Keith isn’t gonna get me 5.2 in time.

Thanks Uwe, I came out the other side ok. Power just came back on today. Man I love electricity.
