I would like to start a build on a plasma. I have built a cmc router and like the acorn board and CBC 12, but I would like to build a rotary axis. This would need 5 motors. I could wire both y axis together, but that changes design for me. Any chance of acorn coming out with 5 axis?

There is a 6 axis version in beta testing now. It will be considerably more expensive than the current Acorn.

Not sure why that would be a problem for your design, I have both Y axis Clearpath motors hardwired to a single output on the Acorn (I reversed one motor's rotation in the MSP software) and I still have an open axis for a rotary axis is I add one. Am I missing something?

That's the exact cable I have on my Hypertherm 85 plasma cutter. Works great.

Perfect! Ordered my setup this AM (3/3/22) Keith. Ordered a new acorn too for that plasma setup so just assign the plasma pro license to the newest board. Thanks again.

Let me know if you want to sell me a 6 motor driver board to test that on vs a 4 axis.
