Makes sense. The acorn is all I have worked with, so that's where the normally grounded idea came from.

The last two days I have had 9039 software exited a couple of times after using Tool Check or RunJobOptions / Restart the fourth or fifth time with 5.22 on Acorn Six lathe. After issuing restart the field for Enter Search line... is not highlighted and on the next keyboard input the software will exit.
After a restart it is running ok again.

thanks, hmmm, looking into it.
the field not highlighted is by design as this menu was recently rewritten using different tools
9039 however is an issue, so looking into it, thanks for reporting.

It is highlighted or looking different if working normal.
I will try to make screenshots, since I can reproduce this situation.

Had the same issue with v5.21 rev3 beta. Reverted back to v5.20, which seems to be fine.

I had some random times cn12 would exit on it's own yesterday on 5.22. I'll try and reproduce today, but once was when saving wizard changes.

Thank you both for reporting this, it will be fixed in the next beta/release. The error comes from an updater syncing the toggle switches with the function key labels resulting in an infinite loop. There is no workaround at this time other than to avoid the menu unfortunately.

Ken, were you experiencing the same bug with the run-search menu or experiencing crashes elsewhere?

No problem, my workaround at the moment was to modify the fusion PP with spindle stop between tool changes for measuring the part before the next tool is doing its thing

I am just setting wizard, limits, changing buttons, ect... I am not to the point of running test files. I had it not recognize fast or slow jog speeds when I selected the rabbit bunny button, nothing changed. I had it set for fast jog on opening and it came up slow as well. I ended up reverting back to 5.2 also. I can get a report from the messed up stuff on 5.22 if you need it.

I always need a report
Could you also do Ctrl+p in the wizard and give me the pdf of your settings? This way I can put in your inputs to try and replicate the crash.
