May have to try that switch as the all in one works well for the particular setup.
Aggravating. I think I ran into that one myself on a Lenovo M92P Tiny. Next time it happens, I think I will roll back the Ethernet driver to an earlier version as a test.

Double checked drivers and it doesn't look like there has been update for quite some time so it probably wasn't a driver problem but I did get windows to do some more updates over the weekend and it's I had no errors testing it this morning.
