You can pickup one local, just get a sheilded Cat5E with metal cover over the RJ45. Or just use a standard ethernet cable to test and see if that is the problem. If so go buy a new one.

Did you set the ethernet to never sleep? Turn of High effieciency ethernet in device manager? If it comes on when you plug it in it does seem like a cable or sleeping. But there were some issues with the NUC PCs. There are issues with everything these days. 2025!

ive tested with regular, still same issue.

ive manually checked thoae settings before and after each try. the settings are correct.
i can go to the ethernet adapter and watch data being sent and recieved also.

it just will not bring up the software.

At this point I'm not sure what else can be tested.
The best course of action is probably going to be to send in your Acorn for a swapout for $199.
More info on the Acorn swapout program: https://www.centroidcnc.com/centroid_di ... ranty.html
If you'd like to do the swapout send us an email at: support@centroidcnc.com.
And we can get that setup for you.

what? 199 dollars for something thats brand new and hasnt even made it past the bench test phase lol. this tbing has had connection issues randomly since bench testing it. even with the pc they recommend, and at that people on here saying they know they had issues with the nuc they recommend, and had a fix in the new 5.3 software.

like i said, this thi g was bought, taken out of package, hooked up as per procedure with recommended pc, had a few connection issues. family member got cancer and passed, i had time to come back to it. had connection issue, and now being told there was a issue with the nuc pc, new software suppose to fix it, run tuner says perfect, but i need to spend another 199 to see why the fix didnt fix it?

Sure feel free to give me a call, but first:
During our call I'll need to be able to remote in to your PC to have a look quickly myself.
1. Connect the PC to internet.
2. Install TeamViewer and navigate to where you can see your ID and Password, I'll need those.
You don't need an account and don't need to pay for anything.

814-353-9290 ext. 118
If I miss you please leave me a voicemail and I'll call you back asap.

It will probably depend on the purchase date, and not the date you actually started trying to use it.
