Re: Need Help: Acorn, DMM DYN4 New Build
Can you run DYN4 on 110 VAC for bench testing? When I ordered the system is was supposedly configured for 220, which is what I plan to use for the final setup. If you can use 110, what pins on T4 would you connect the hot and neutral to? I wouldn’t think the system would relay on the earth ground only. I searched high and low over the weekend for an answer. If it’s been previously posted here, I couldn’t find it. 220 single phase seems pretty straightforward, it’s the 110 that’s got me confused.

Rick, this is a very basic question that you can find the answer to in the users manual, there's an entire section in the manual on main circuit wiring. The drives are rated for 110-240 VAC, it says this right on the sticker on the drive. Not sure why you are looking on the forum when there's a manual for the drive. Please go read the user's manual provided by DMM for information before you go any further.
