I didnt realize the extent that pneumatics were used.
There is a rotary cylinder that slides the turret towards the head. I was sure that would be a linear cylinder.
And for that spindle index set up again there is an air powered device that projects the roller into the divot in the pulley.
It seems there are about 5 pneumatic valves that control all but the rotation of the carousel.
At first I was concerned with being able to interface with the small control board on page 2.
Not knowing the voltage it might add more burden than necessary.
While I wait for Ethernet 1616 to arrive, wouldnt it be easier to simply use a relay for each pneumatic valve? I can most likely find the voltage for that. I suspect 24vdc.
