I did spend some time with your videos before our Mill conversion, which got a Hickory, but I actually haven't revisited them until now. Thanks for all the time you put into these. I'll probably spend some more time with them during the 'setup and calibration' phase.
I have all the connections made for the VFD, but am unsure of whether or not I am able to use "ACM" on our Automation Direct GS30 as both the ground reference for Input and output. (I can't seem to find a dedicated Analog Output Common, and assume that I am just supposed to know something fundamental, here, such as 'any ground will work for this reference.')

You should be using AI1 and ACM for your analog input to the VFD from All in One DC.
DCM is the common for the digital inputs. (Control circuits)

ACM is the analog common, for both the analog inputs (AI1 & AI2) and the analog output (AO1). See pages 2-31 and 2-37 of the GS30 manual.
ACM is not necessarily the same as "any ground".

Just checking the current limiting switches. They are currently (pun unintended) set for 12A, but I cannot find what the rated amperage is for these Magnetek motors.
Armature rating is on the label, as 2A on one motor (Z), and 2.96A on the other.
Safe to power this on, set to 12A, or should I start at 6A? The motors are basically seeing 160V, so Amperage may not be very high?
Any help is greatly appreciated.

Good News! No blue smoke.
I don't seem to have access to any wizard. (It's in 'cnct' but will not open)
Currently, the Allin1DC is flashing '4.' from the led indicator, which appears to indicate a limit switch being triggered, but I can manually trip all 4 limit switches, and watch the corresponding inputs change state. I have tried inverting them, which makes no difference, other than that they all register as tripped.
Any ideas?

Update:
The limit fault was solved by tripping limit defeat switches other than the two axes in use for this build.
Onward.
Working on getting movement out of the axes now. Neither will move without triggering a 'position error.' The Jog buttons on the VCP will not create any movement with the exception of 'X -" which will make the cross slide move rapidly for a second before throwing an 'x-axis (2) position error.'
I can move the axes briefly by using feed commands, but a similar error occurs each time.
What am I missing?

That sounds like a power polarity / encoder direction mismatch. Try swapping your plus and minus motor power leads.

Custom PLC issues:
I'm trying to edit my plc, and received a bunch of errors when compiling which I was able to resolve by commenting things out that didn't apply. Finally, it compiled, but when I try booting cnc12, now, it gives a plc checksum error, and exits cnc12.
Attached are the original mpu.plc (mpu-o) as well as the one I modified from the included .src file.
Help?

Thanks! We used about a half hour of our tech support today, and have the hand wheels working, along with PID tuning for both axes. Because there is a "door closed" switch in the PLC, but I am using the input for something else, I haven't turned on the spindle yet.
